London Business School (LBS) is a leader in the field of business education; top-ranked for its programmes by Bloomberg Businessweek and the Financial Times; with a faculty acclaimed for its academic excellence and industry experience; a student body drawn from all continents; a campus alive with student and alumni clubs, professional and social events that will build your network and enrich your world view and personal development.
LBS provides various pre- and post-experience programmes tailored to suit each career stage. The Early Career Programmes are for recent graduates with less than two years of experience: Masters in Management, Global Masters in Management, Masters in Financial Analysis and Masters in Analytics and Management. The Mid Career Programmes for experienced professionals include the full time MBA and the Masters in Finance (full time or part time).
The Leadership Programmes are the Executive MBA (EMBA) delivered in London or Dubai; the EMBA Global delivered in partnership with Columbia Business School; and the Sloan Masters in Leadership and Strategy. There is also a PhD programme on offer.
Over 2,000 students from around 130 countries graduate from the School each year, and a further 10,000 professionals attend open and custom programmes served by the Executive Education Team.
Surrounding your core studies is a host of complementary activities. You will have access to mentoring provided by MBA and MiF students and alumni working in the world’s top organisations. There are over 80 student clubs to join, with many hosting conferences that attract globally recognised speakers from politics and finance to sport and entertainment who share their insights on business, success and leadership.
The Career Centre supports you as you define your goals and prepare for your job search. With career coaching and peer support sessions, you’ll take forward a plan for your personal development that gives you the practical and soft skills you need to succeed in business. The Career Centre runs over 100 events throughout the year including recruitment and networking evenings, to give you clarity on your next steps and connect you with employers across various sectors.
There is no accommodation on campus, however, there are plenty of places to choose from around London. Many choose to live in private residences, often with other LBS students, and outgoing students are on hand to help the incoming classes with their search.
The London Business School campus is next to Regent's Park in Marylebone and overlooks a lake, allowing students to enjoy some of London's most beautiful views.
London Business School maintains several facilities, including a fitness centre, a restaurant, two cafes and a library dedicated to students' exclusive use. A privately-run pub is also attached to the campus.
My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
