Leon is from Wales in the UK and did his undergraduate degree in Archaeology at the University of Exeter, later graduating from the University of Sheffield with a Postgraduate Diploma in Japanese Studies. Jeremy did his first degree in Liberal Arts at The Evergreen State College, and also completed a postgraduate certificate in Japanese Language and Society at the University of Sheffield in 2005. Jeremy has lived in Osaka for over 10 year ands has extensive experience helping people prepare academically to study abroad. At SI-UK he both counsels students and teaches, primarily IELTS lessons and the English for Academic Purposes courses.

Nori has an MA in Language and Culture Studies from Kyoto Foreign Language University. During her undergraduate period, she spent time in the U.K. There she learned more about the strong relation between language and society and decided to research more on that topic. Her Master’s degree focused on the relationship between language within British culture. Her time in the UK coupled with her academic studies related to Britain provide her an excellent background as a UK counselor. Nori’s years of experience working with British universities, the British Council and helping send hundreds of students to top UK universities make her a perfect counselor for students.

Suzannah is from Canada. She studied first at York University in Toronto, where she specialised in Fine Arts. After graduation, she worked in management in the health care industry. This eventually led her to continue her studies in Australia whereby she gained her BEd/MEd and continues as a graduate student. Suzannah has been living and teaching in the Oceania zone for over 10 years now and hopes to eventually blend her interests in education, fine arts and health/healing.

After studying in Australia for 7 years, he also worked in the fashion industry as well as in the import and export trading and marketing with the U.K., the States and Australia.
