CSC have been preparing students for their university studies both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for over forty years, with pathways to some of the top 20 UK universities amongst the 105+ UK institutions, that are accepted for their Foundation programme and continue to strive to meet and exceed students’ expectations. CSC has a modern, beautiful and welcoming boarding house, which is a 10 minutes walk from the College. Equipt with two fully furnished contemporary kitchens, an open conservatory / dining room, laundry facilities, spacious double bedrooms with en-suites. With three separate financial tiers catering for all students, Acacia House is a perfect accommodation for students who want to experience a shared social atmosphere. The boarding house has a U18 wing and an Accommodation Warden who checks in regularly with all students offering support, guidance and supervision as our students learn independence, confidence and their potential as they explore Cambridge and the UK.
The College also has well-established links with local host families who provide term-time accommodation to students on a half-board basis (breakfast and dinner included). Some families look after just one or two students while others are happy to provide accommodation for several students at a time. Students have their own individual rooms with study facilities. Host family accommodation is particularly suitable for students who appreciate a family atmosphere.
