Overview

At West Hill Park School children will be welcomed into a happy, supportive community in which everyone is valued and where we encourage everyone to show respect and care for one another. Excellent academic performance is central to the school's ethos, but we are careful not to measure children by academic achievement alone and place real value on the breadth of the experience they gain. Boarding here is very much based on feeling happy and safe, and having a lot of fun. We encourage children to take every opportunity life brings and to appreciate the world around them.

Unique Points

The extensive activities programme epitomises the school's attitude that children are capable of everything. As children progress through the school, they are encouraged to take more responsibility for  their learning, and their contribution to school life.

Entry Requirements

We require international students to have sufficient spoken and written English to be able to participate fully in school life and the confidence to become successful Boarders away from home. Parents have to sign up to a local guardian for support with holiday and Exeat arrangements when the pupils are unable to go home, school is not able to make recommendations.
