Queen Mary University’s campus provides a variety of study spaces that cater to different needs, whether you’re looking for silence or a bit of background buzz.
Mile End Library: This is the heart of academic life on campus. With its extensive collection of books, journals, and digital resources, the library is an essential spot for serious study. The Silent Study Room is perfect for those who need complete quiet, while the Group Study Rooms are great for collaborative projects.
Ground Café: Located in the Students’ Union Hub, Ground Café offers a cosy atmosphere with a range of coffee and snacks. It’s an ideal spot for a more relaxed study session or for those who need a bit of background noise to concentrate.
Graduate Centre: Big windows and lots of natural light, the most comfortable booths to study at, and an amazing hot drink and a snack from the café. (A cup of hot chocolate is always a great motivation to perk up and help you concentrate, especially on rainy days.
Blomeley Rooms: Located in the Students’ Union Building, these rooms can be booked for group study sessions. They provide a quiet space and are close to the SU's amenities.
Drapers Lounge: For a change of scenery, Drapers Lounge offers comfortable seating and a relaxed environment. It’s a great place to take a break from the library and work in a more casual setting.
The Canalside: This is the prettiest and most scenic part of the campus to study, especially during the summers.
