Students in the Doctor of Medicine programme spend two years on basic sciences, followed by clinical training opportunities at over 70 leading hospitals and health systems in the US, Canada, and the UK. Entry points include:

St. George’s University School of Medicine's partnerships with numerous hospitals and clinical centres in the US, UK, and Canada provide students with diverse patient populations and environments, offering valuable international experience.
Students fully utilizing SGU's clinical rotation opportunities will experience medical practice and education across the United States, Canada, Grenada, and the United Kingdom. Since 1999, SGU has implemented a system of clinical centres, each capable of offering core rotations, sub-internships, primary care rotations, and electives while continuously training 80 to 100 students. Each clinical-site affiliate is managed by a dedicated Director of Medical Education, Program Directors, faculty, and support staff to ensure cohesive and consistent clinical training.

St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine
St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA COE) and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), prepares students for global animal health care. Graduates who pass the NAVLE are eligible for licensure in the US and Canada, while those completing the Global Veterinary Health Track can practice in the UK without further examination.
Students gain hands-on experience in veterinary surgery and other skills before their final-year clinical training at over 30 affiliated schools in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and the Netherlands. The SGU Small Animal Clinic and other facilities also offer extensive services to local pets, benefiting over 1,200 residents and handling around 200 patients weekly.
