CATS Colleges specialise in teaching international students from the ages of 14 to 18, focusing on university preparation through A-Levels, foundation programmes and the iinternational baccalaureate. It was founded in 1952 and has since developed into a prestigious institution with a very high rate of offers to both Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities.
Students begin with an initial counselling session to help you choose from the options on offer and ensure that your choices will allow you to fulfill your ambitions. Parents receive a 'settling in' report within a students first week of term and further reports throughout your time at CATS College. Students are also tested weekly to ensure that they are making the progress they need, and so that extra tuition can be arranged where necessary.
Almost all students graduating from CATS College gain places on university degree courses. At CATS Colleges you can expect:
Upon arrival, all students take part in an induction programme to show them round the college and introduce them to staff and other students. During term time, students are allocated a personal tutor to provide regular feedback on progress. In addition, Student Services and the Welfare Team deal with non-academic issues such as happiness, visas and health.
The following services are provided:
CATS Colleges sends a large number of its students to top Russell Group universities every year, with three students each reaching Cambridge and LSE for the 2014 year from A-Levels. University Foundation course and International Baccalaureate students also go on to top universities like Durham, SOAS and St Andrews. In 2012, 84% of A-Level students received Russell Group offers.
College accommodation is available for all age ranges. In total there are over 30 different residences close to the college, with single, en suite and shared options available. My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
