Overview
- Full-time, campus based programme for qualified nurses with a diploma, or equivalent level of study, who want to attain a nursing degree.
- The course explores research and evidence based practice, organisational and team working,, end of life care, and health and chronic disease.
- You will undertake 5 compulsory modules and 1 optional module that provide a firm foundation to support your development of nursing knowledge.

These modules will provide a firm foundation to support your development of nursing knowledge, and to help you develop your personal learning skills and critical thinking skills.
THESE MODULES PROVIDE CORE CONTENT TO HELP YOU TO:
- Search for, find and use relevant literature and information.
- Develop critical reading skills and reflect on knowledge and information about nursing and healthcare.
- Understand the research process, research concepts and its application in nursing and evidence based practice.
- Consider ideas about professional practice and communication that influence approaches to professional caring and healthcare beliefs.
- Understand your own values, leadership and learning styles.
- Understand the organisation of nursing and healthcare.
- Reflect on the nature of interdisciplinary team working.
- Review nursing practices at local, national and international levels.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- All candidates must be a qualified nurse in their own country
- Have successfully attained UK Diploma in Higher Education level study, or equivalent level of study
- Students will present evidence of academic attainment equivalent to 120 credits at Level 5, this will be evaluated by the course leader and you may be asked for further information to support your application.
- Must have attained English language IELTs with a minimal score of 7.0 (with no sub score lower than 7) in all components for overseas students.
