What is the TOEFL English Test?
TOEFL is the oldest form of English language testing in the world and TEFL results are accepted by almost all UK universities. The test can be taken online or in-person and measures a users reading, writing, listening and speaking ability
TOEFL Exam Format
- Reading: Students are required to read 3 or 4 passages from an academic text and answer questions
- Listening: Students will listen to lectures, classroom discussions and conversations and then answer questions
- Speaking: Students will be required to express an opinion on a familiar topic and then speak on it
- Writing: Students will be required to write essay responses based on the reading and listening tasks
Can the TOEFL Test be taken online?
The TOEFL test can now be taken at home and is available 4 days a week, with appointments available as early as 24 hours after you register.
