UCAS Clearing

What is UCAS Clearing?

UCAS Clearing is for students who are unable to secure an offer from a UK university for three main reasons:

Clearing is how UK universities fill in vacancies on courses which begin in September 2018, the start of the new academic year. Clearing begins each year in July and lasts until September.

UCAS Clearing Help

SI-UK can assist students in finding available courses at UK universities. We will contact universities on your behalf and enquire if they are interested in accepting you as a student. This service is free for Moroccon students.

If you want to begin the Clearing process today, visit us in Casablanca for a free consultation.

UCAS Clearing Process

1. Receive free Clearing advice

Arrange your free consultation to learn more about available undergraduate courses for September 2018 entry at UK universities. Your personal consultant will go through the Clearing list with you, discussing subject options and university locations.

2. Contact universities on your behalf

Once we have established which courses and universities you are interested in, your consultant will contact institutions on your behalf to find out if they are interested in accepting you as a student.

3. Accepting an offer through Clearing

After we have contacted universities on your behalf, you may be informally offered a place at a number of institutions. If you are unfamiliar with the university, research the institution and area before accepting.

4. Adding a Clearing choice to UCAS

If you decide to accept an offer, you will need to enter your Clearing choice. You can only enter one Clearing choice at a time through UCAS, but if the university doesn’t confirm your place you can add another.
