Students who complete their pathway programme (International Foundation Year, International Year One or Pre-Master's) and achieve the required grades, will be awarded a scholarship upon progression to the University of Huddersfield.
How does a merit-based scholarship work?
The University of Huddersfield's merit-based scholarship is determined by the grades you achieve at the end of your pathway programme at the International Study Centre.

The scholarship is awarded each academic year of your course, except for placement years.
You will not need to apply for the scholarship, it will be awarded to all applicants automatically on confirmation of progression grades.
Am I eligible for the joint scholarship?
There are some exclusions to the merit-based scholarship with certain progression degrees offering a maximum scholarship amount of £2,000. These exclusions apply to students progressing to:

Self-funded applicants only.
PG Taught programmes only (not available for Masters by Research/Masters with Placement/PhD/Doctorates).
Not available for placement components.
Applicants with refugee, asylum-seeker status or indefinite leave to remain in the UK, or those here on dependency visas will not qualify.
Progression scholarships (University of Sheffield)

There are a number of scholarships available to International Foundation Year and Pre-Masters students progressing to the University of Sheffield. These include:
International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship – offering 75 scholarships worth £10,000 towards the tuition fees for undergraduate degree programmes starting in autumn 2024.
International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship – offering 125 scholarships worth £5,000 towards the original tuition fee for the postgraduate programmes starting in September 2024.

The University of Aberdeen is pleased to offer students enrolling on an undergraduate level pathway programme at the International Study Centre access to their undergraduate scholarships for progression to the University in September 2025.
This is a £5,000 tuition fee discount, and the scholarship will apply to every year of degree study. The scholarship is open to both self-funded and sponsored full-time international fees students registering for on-campus undergraduate programmes.
Eligibility
The University of Aberdeen offers the undergraduate scholarships to international students starting their pathway programme (Undergraduate Foundation Programme or International Year Two) in September 2024, November 2024 or January 2025 and who will transition to the University in September 2025.

Up to £2,500
University scholarship is worth £2,000 per year for courses in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Faculty of Social Sciences, and £2,500 per year for courses in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Health and Faculty of Science.
