Windermere School is a small and friendly British school with a global outlook. It is situated on an idyllic lakeside location amidst The Lake District's breathtaking scenery, yet it is well connected to the world with easy access from Manchester and Liverpool international airports just 90 minutes away. The school ethos is based on its membership of the "Round Square Association", a worldwide organisation that shares a commitment to personal development and responsibility through service, challenge, adventure and international understanding.
Unique Points
Windermere School welcomes international students to experience its unique and spectacular setting in The Lake District National Park. There are 100 acres of woodland on two campuses, and a lakefront Royal Yachting Association watersports centre with a fleet of sailboats. The boarding houses overlook Lake Windermere.
Entry Requirements
The school requires a completed application form and a £50 registration fee, a current school report and a personal essay in the student's own handwriting. This is then followed by an interview with the Headmaster Head of School and Head of Admissions (often conducted by Skype) and an internal assessment of English and Maths.

My counsellor contacted me every day throughout the application process and helped me receive an unconditional offer. I am so grateful to SI-UK and will never forget them. I will study very hard as I feel this is the best reward I can give the whole team.
