The Barzilai Foundation Scholarship is designed to provide educational access for high-potential students who are unable to fully fund their studies through other scholarships or their own finances. The scholarship is available for deserving students enrolling in select programmes, who will need to explain their financial need and demonstrate appropriate evidence as part of their application.

Access to Healthcare
The Barzilai Foundation Scholarship covers the remaining tuition fees after all other grants, scholarships, and discounts have been applied. It can be renewed for the duration of your programme, provided you maintain your enrolment and achieve satisfactory academic progress.
The CERG PhD Scholarship is available for prospective full-time PhD students of the University of Gibraltar, who will focus their PhD research project on gambling related topics, such as the aetiology of problematic gambling/gambling disorder and understanding the mechanisms of gambling related risks and harms.
This scholarship is offered for exceptional students and would cover full programme tuition fees, a monthly living stipend and travel assistance.
Europa Scholarships are prestigious scholarships which are competitive and awarded for academic excellence. Europa Scholarships are open to all students and are worth a maximum of £1,500 per annum. They are available for each year of a student’s study programme, subject to continuing good academic performance and satisfactory progress.
PhD part-time Scholarships are open to students in Gibraltar or within a commutable distance and applicable to self-funded students. The PhD part-time Scholarship is available up to £3,050 per annum if no bench fees are applicable or £4,050 per annum if bench fees are applicable. They are available for each year of a student’s study programme, subject to continuing good academic performance and satisfactory progress.
Students would need to apply for the PhD part-time Scholarship via an application form. Once a student receives University approval for their research proposal they should request the scholarship form which will be sent to them by the Research Office. The student application will be assessed on academic and extra-curricular performance which is to be part of the PhD and scholarship application form. A Scholarship Review Panel will assess scholarship applications received and a decision is expected to be communicated to the student within 30 days of the scholarship application.
