Maynooth University Services for International Students

International orientation takes place a week before lectures begin and is designed to introduce students to life at the University and to each other. It includes various workshops and talks, campus tours and introductions to clubs and societies. A free writing centre at Maynooth helps students during each course year, while Student Plus, a  skill development course, enables them to learn more effectively. Students lead a very active life at Maynooth campus (voted as Ireland’s friendliest college in a recent poll of 10,000 students) with its 100+ clubs and societies for pursuing activities of one’s interests. The large and small sports halls, which include a fitness centre and free weights room, allow Maynooth students to seek fitness and physical recreation.
