Earlscliffe
is a small, independent residential college for 15 to 19 year olds from all
over the world, including England. Earlscliffe is in Folkestone, on the south
coast and yet only 50 mins from central London by train.
We offer a choice of traditional A Level subjects plus a student's own language
and IELTS tuition. Each main A Level subject is allocated nine lessons per
week. Our unique TRaC system of weekly testing and feedback means that
students, parents and agents always have access to a full and current academic
performance profile, which in itself is used as a driver for progress.
Students are encouraged to focus on university entrance from the moment they
join us, with our Orientation Week culminating with our Oxford weekend. We
prepare students for a July & August between the two years of A Level that
we call 'The Mid-Course Summer', when students complete the Extended Project
Qualification, a Work Placement and even a session in the USA at Harvard Summer
School.
All students live and study in the college, in an historic building which has
been completely renovated and refurbished 2011-12. All rooms are spacious and
twin-bedded, with private shower/wc facilities.
Students participate in sports and cultural activities each Wednesday afternoon
and at weeken
Unique Points
Earlscliffe
is a residential sixth form college specialising in traditional A Level
subjects. We employ a highly personalised approach in all that we do. Our aim
is for each student to maximise his or her chances of being accepted by a top
UK university. We offer nine lessons per subject per week, believing that
teaching time during the working day is more beneficial than self-study
periods. Our TRaC™ system (Test, Rank and Coach) means that all students sit a
45 min TRaC™ test in each of their three main subjects every Friday afternoon
and students, parents and agents receive the results on the following Monday.

I believe my success is due to the great support provided by SI-UK. I was advised the right IELTS courses to attend and they also helped with my visa application. I really want to share with you my positive experience and I would definitely recommend SI-UK to my friends.
