Imperial College London have been crowned the most International University in the UK following the publication of the Times Higher Education Most International Universities in the World for 2018 ranking.
Vice-President (International) Professor Maggie Dallman said: “We’re extremely proud to be named the UK’s most international university for the third year in a row. Imperial's excellence arises from attracting talented people and working with leading institutions from across the world and that is why we are passionate about keeping our doors open to all members of the global community.”

Five reasons why Imperial is the most international university in the UK
1. International university partnerships
Imperial’s International Research Opportunities Programme (IROP) offers students the chance to spend 8 weeks during the summer vacation at an international partner university.
All partner universities have been chosen for their reputation in science and technology, and currently include some of the world’s top institutions such as MIT, University of California and Seoul National University.
2. Overseas programmes
The University offer a wide variety of other international programmes, including Engineers without Borders, which involves a mixture of hands-on projects and training for students to show them how they can use their engineering skills to help those most in need and Global Brigades, which sees student volunteers travel to Central America and Africa to establish mobile medical clinics in under-resourced communities.
3. Internationally ranked and recognised
Imperial are ranked among the top ten best universities in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2018, making an Imperial degree highly valued by employers all over the world.

Around 60% of Imperial’s student body and 38% of staff are from outside of the UK, creating a truly international atmosphere for you to thrive.
