Overview

The English for International Students Unit (EISU) has an excellent reputation for the quality of its courses and its friendly, welcoming and supportive atmosphere. EISU teaching staff have high academic qualifications and extensive teaching experience.

EISU offer year-round courses for international students who wish to improve their English before they begin their academic studies.

These include courses in English and Academic Skills for students with an intermediate level of English or above, as well as pre-sessional courses in English for Academic Purposes and Business Management English for students with an offer to study at the University of Birmingham.

For international students currently registered at the University of Birmingham EISU offer term-time courses and individual language support (available all year round).

EISU also run the module in International Communication and Cross-Cultural Awareness as part of the Personal Skills Award, which is open to undergraduate students at the University of Birmingham.

The University of Birmingham is world famous, with superb facilities for its students and a very attractive green and leafy campus. Birmingham is Britain's second city with a wide range of cultural activities, excellent shops and convenient air, rail, bus and road connections to other parts of the UK.

Breckett Front   believe my success is due to the great support provided by SI-UK. I was advised the right IELTS courses to attend and they also helped with my visa application. I really want to share with you my positive experience and I would definitely recommend SI-UK to my friends.  Breckett Front
