Students should be:
A citizen of the United States.
An undergraduate student in good standing at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States (including both two-year and four-year institutions).
Receiving a Federal Pell Grant during the time of application or provide proof that they will be receiving a Pell Grant during the term of their study abroad program or internship.
In the process of applying to, or accepted to, a credit-bearing study abroad or internship program, or a virtual international program. Proof of program acceptance is required prior to award disbursement.
Applying for credit-bearing study abroad programs in a country or area with an overall Travel Advisory Level 1 or 2, according to the U.S. Department of State’s Travel Advisory System.
The prestigious Bolashak Scholarship programme, offered by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, enables high achieving students from Kazakhstan to undertake undergraduate, postgraduate and research study at prestigious universities around the world.
The Centre for International Programmes (CIP) in Astana manages the programme on behalf of the Ministry of Science and Education.
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) provides the UK government scholarship scheme led by international development objectives. It operates within the framework of the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) and offers a vivid demonstration of the UK’s enduring commitment to the Commonwealth. By attracting individuals with outstanding talent and identifiable potential from all backgrounds and supporting them to become leaders and innovators on returning to their home countries, the CSC’s work combines sustainable development with the UK national interest and provides opportunities for international partnerships and collaboration.
Funding
One applicant will receive funding for 100% of their tuition fees, plus return airfare to the UK from your country of residence, a maintenance award and additional allowances.

To be considered for these scholarships, applicants must:
Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country.
Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country.
Be available to start academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year in September 2025.
By September 2025, hold a first degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) honours standard, or a lower second-class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree).
Not have studied or worked for more than one (academic) year or more in a high-income country
Be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship.
Have provided all supporting documentation in the required format.

The GREAT Scholarships programme, launched by the British Council together with 72 UK universities, supports postgraduate students to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.
The scholarship programme offers financial support of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects. Students selected for this prestigious scholarship will be expected to be ambassadors Robert Gordon University and on completion of their master’s programme act as an ambassador for the GREAT scholarship, possibly speaking with future students interested in studying in the UK to share their experience.

The international partnership scholarship, is specific to each institution as are the terms agreed, so this is not guaranteed.
Where a scholarship is agreed with a partner institution then this is available to all students from that institution regardless of the course they studied.
This scholarship would be applied to eligible students as a reduction of their fees upon enrolment to the University.
