Overview

ILC Language Schools has schools in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Colchester, Portsmouth and Southampton, providing high-quality language courses and excellent customer service in a variety of attractive locations. ILC have great residential and non-residential summer schools, flexible year round young learner mini-break programmes and a strong general English and academic pathway programme.

ILC classes are designed to help you communicate much better in English and get useful skills. Teachers aim to inspire you with lessons about the world around you. Location

Birmingham

There are so many things to do in Birmingham and our centre is only a few minutes’ walk from them all. Ready to shop? Explore the Bull Ring and Grand Central which offers shopping for any budget. Discover Brindley Place or The Mailbox which has some of best places to eat in the UK, with restaurants serving food from over 30 countries all over the world.

Bristol

Set in the bright, green countryside of the South-West of England, Bristol holds some of the UK’s best opportunities for artists, young people and cultural events. ILC Bristol is a minute’s walk away from the modern shopping centre in Cabot Circus and the colourful Castle Park, both of which reflect Bristol’s relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The bright, spacious classrooms and comfortable student lounge provide an ideal learning environment for our students.

Cambridge

Cambridge is renowned throughout the world for having one of the oldest and best universities. It still has this reputation now and has also become an exciting hub for research and new businesses, particularly in the field of biomedical sciences. Cambridge, like Silicon Valley, is a place where the latest scientific ideas are being used to develop new business opportunities. ILC Cambridge is set right in the historic heart of the city close to Jesus College and the city centre which is an atmospheric and beautiful area of shopping centres, university buildings, museums, a river and parks.

Colchester

Colchester is located in the south-east of England. It is Britain’s oldest recorded town and was the Roman capital of Britain when the Romans ruled here. It is a vibrant, growing city with a population of over 200,000. ILC Colchester is located in a beautiful, historic building close to the town centre. History is everywhere in Colchester and the centre-piece is Castle Park with its beautifully laid out gardens.

Portsmouth

Famous for its beautiful waterfront and dynamic culture, Portsmouth promises you a warm welcome to the south of England, a rich maritime history and many interesting attractions. Situated in the main shopping area and next to Victoria Park, ILC Portsmouth is conveniently located in the city centre, but within walking distance from the waterfront. When entering the school, students will always get a friendly welcome in ILC Portsmouth’s large reception area by our helpful, dedicated staff.

Southampton

One of the UK’s most famous ports, Southampton is known as ‘the Cruise Capital of Europe’. As well as wonderful museums, it is also rich in art galleries, theatres and historical centres. It also has one of the largest shopping centres in the south of England.
