The University of Huddersfield has been named the best UK university under 50 in the most recent edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2024.
The Young University Rankings evaluate the best universities under 50 years old. In the 2024 ranking, 673 institutions were evaluated, and Huddersfield stood out for its high scores in research quality and international outlook.
The University of Huddersfield has enjoyed a series of notable achievements over the past year, highlighted by its top position in the 2024 Young University Rankings. It received a Gold rating in the latest Teaching Excellence Framework. At the same time, Huddersfield Business School was honoured as the Business School of the Year at the Times Higher Education Awards 2023 for its impactful community engagement and local economic contributions. The University also excelled in the 2024 QS World University Rankings by Subject, being recognized among the world's top institutions in 13 subjects in the top 300.
