London named Best Student City for fifth consecutive year

London has been named the world's best student city by QS in the 2024 Best Student Cities Ranking.

London has finished top of the ranking for the fifth year in a row, seeing off competition from Tokyo, Seoul and Melbourne. Edinburgh, a popular study destination in Scotland, finished 16th overall. Key highlights included huge scores in the diversity of its student mix, students’ feedback on their overall experience in London and the number of world-class universities in the city.

The QS Best Student Cities Ranking 2024 combines data about various factors important to international students, including rankings, employer activity and student mix.
