2016 National Student Survey reveals high satisfaction rates among UK students

22 August 2016

Results published by the National Student Survey earlier this month have revealed that students studying in the UK remain satisfied by the standard of their courses.

Eighty-six per cent of the 300,000 final-year UK undergraduates who responded to 2016 survey said that they were satisfied with their course, the same as the all-time high recorded in the 2014 and 2015 results. Overall satisfaction scores stood at 85 per cent in England, 86 per cent in Wales and Scotland and 89 per cent in Northern Ireland.

In total, 358 institutions took part in the 2016 National Student Survey, with 86 per cent of students agreeing with the statement: ‘overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the course.’
