One year on from the first ever Teaching Excellence Framework, a number of reevaluated UK universities have been awarded Gold, the highest rating, following a revision of the original results.
Over 20 universities had their original award reviewed, with many making the substantial leap from Silver to Gold. Amongst those improving upon their 2017 results, were:
The University of Liverpool and University of Southampton, both Russell Group institutions, were also awarded a Silver rating for 2018. The improvements from many universities show UK institutions are constantly striving to improve the student experience and graduate prospects for young learners from all over the world.
