Harper Adams University has been named the best university in the UK for student experience by Times Higher Education.
Harper Adams is a specialist provider of higher education for the agricultural and rural sector, and is in only its second year of eligibility in the league table. The top five is completed by Loughborough University, who topped the poll last year, the University of Sheffield, the University of Leeds and the University of Surrey.
David Llewellyn, the university’s vice-chancellor, said, “It is great to see our students rate the university so highly and coming first is a fantastic result. We work hard to give our students an outstanding academic experience, but because we are based in the countryside our Students’ Union also puts on a very active social programme to help students get to know each other.”
The results are based on the responses of more than 15,000 undergraduates rating their university across 21 categories based on a seven-point rating from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree”.

My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
