The University of Cambridge may have beaten the University of Oxford in the QS World University Rankings, but the pair of higher education heavyweights had to share a place at the top of the Times Rankings for 2015.
It is the first time the two have tied in the 21-year existence of the rankings, with the guide mentioning of Cambridge: "Efforts to diversify the student intake appear to be bearing fruit, with 63 per cent of students now recruited from state schools, according to the latest figures — putting clear water between Cambridge and Oxford, where just 57.4 per cent of entrants are state educated."
It rounds off a fantastic year for the University, who also find themselves top of the Guardian and Complete UK University Guides for 2015. Other notable risers include De Montfort University, who climbed 32 places to 54th, the largest of any institution.

My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
