The University of Cambridge has been ranked the top UK institution for graduate employability in the Global University Employability Ranking 2025, securing 5th place globally. The University of Oxford follows closely, ranked 7th globally. The rankings, created by HR consultancy Emerging and published by Times Higher Education, highlight the universities best preparing students for the workforce.
Among the 13 UK institutions listed, London dominates with five universities, including Imperial College London (10th globally), London School of Economics and Political Science (23rd), and University College London (128th).
Scotland and Wales are also represented, with the University of St Andrews (142nd) and Cardiff University (187th) respectively. Additionally, Durham University ranks 202nd globally, maintaining the UK’s reputation for academic and professional excellence.
