Cardiff Metropolitan University has been named the Times Higher Education (THE) University of the Year following its 2021 awards ceremony which took place in London this week.
Having previously been named ‘The Times and Sunday Times Welsh University of the Year 2021’, Cardiff Met is considered the most financially sustainable university in Wales and Capita’s top ‘Employer of Choice’.
President and Vice-Chancellor of Cardiff Metropolitan University, Professor Cara Aitchison, said: "This award recognises and rewards the values-driven character of our university and the significant improvements across all areas of performance in recent years.
"Winning this national award has put Cardiff Met on the map of high calibre UK universities and builds upon our recent success in major league tables and the award of the title of Welsh University of the Year 2021 by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide."

My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
