Essex have increased the number of courses at the University which have placement years available as part of their degree structure.
Completing a placement year can have additional benefits, such as enhancing your professional and interpersonal skills, applying your academic knowledge directly to the workplace and being prepared for your future career. The new placement years are for courses within the Department of History (BA History and BA History and Criminology) and the Department of Literature, Flim and Theatre Studies (BA Film and Creative Writing and BA English and Comparative Literature).
The University of Essex is the current Times Higher Education 'University of the Year' as well as being in the top 15 in the UK amongst mainstream English universities for overall student satisfaction (NSS 2018).

My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
