Teesside University have announced a new International Foundation Year in Health programme which will develop a student’s existing skills through a range of stimulating projects, discussion and classwork activities.
The course is ideal for students who don’t meet the entry requirements for undergraduate courses in health. From essay writing to academic presentations, group work to independent study skills, the academic study skills module equips students with all the necessary academic and language skills to succeed in higher education. Modules in maths ensure that students have a thorough foundation in numeracy too.
Students will focus on subject specialisms of health, anatomy and physiology, and personal development and, once the course is successfully completed, students can apply for full-time undergraduate study on Teesside degrees such as midwifery, nursing and physiotherapy.

My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
