  • Classics

Additionally, 15 subjects have improved in rank, including Accounting, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Psychology, and Business. Notably, all subjects at Liverpool now rank within the global top 300.

These subject-level achievements follow the University’s institutional rise to 165th place in the QS World University Rankings 2025. Professor Tim Jones, Vice-Chancellor, said: “It’s fantastic to see more of our subjects recognised globally. This achievement reflects the dedication of our academic community and reinforces Liverpool’s position as a leading university.”
