The University of South Wales has been named 'Cyber University of the Year' for the fourth consecutive year at the National Cyber Awards 2022.
The awards recognise UK institutions that are committed to the betterment of cyber innovation, cyber crime reduction, and protecting citizens online.
Sharan Johnstone, USW’s Head of Cyber Security said: “We are extremely proud to have won this award for the fourth consecutive year, particularly against such strong contenders in our category.
"I’m privileged to lead a team that has still been able to contribute to cyber education, outreach, and research in the UK, and to be recognised for the work we do with our students, industry, and our wider communities."
South Wales is one of the largest higher education institutes in the UK with more than 30,000 students studying at the University. Being in the capital city of Wales, Cardiff, means students can enjoy vibrant city life and rich culture, stunning beaches and breath-taking countryside.

My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
