The University of St Andrews has finished top of the 2022 Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, becoming the first UK university to beat either Oxford or Cambridge to top spot for the first time in the guide's 30-year history.
The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide is the UK’s leading domestic university rankings provider. St Andrews, now the UK's as well as Scotland's leading university, excelled in the areas of student satisfaction, research, teaching quality, entry standards and graduate outcomes.
Principal and vice-chancellor of St Andrews, Prof Sally Mapstone, said: "I am thrilled for our students, staff and alumni. They are the people who made this happen.
"As one community, we strive constantly for excellence, and have a strategy that hasn't been afraid to believe St Andrews could challenge at the very top by combining the best teaching, world-leading research, and an unswerving commitment to student satisfaction and achievement."

My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
