The NatWest Student Living Index 2023 has ranked towns across the UK and revealed the most affordable locations for students.
The most affordable university town in the UK went to Bournemouth, followed by Cardiff and Lincoln. Higher-than-average term-time incomes contributed to Bournemouth being named the most affordable student location. Universities located in Bournemouth include Bournemouth University and Arts University Bournemouth, but exceptional higher education options in the UK.
The NatWest Student Living Index surveyed over 3,000 students to determine the most affordable place to study, taking into account how much students spend on going out and the income they earn from part-time work.
